    How to Join Alliant

    1. After you have become a member of OFA, use the online membership enrollment application. (International Membership? Read more.)
    2. On the eligibility page select “I belong to the following association or organization”
    3. Select “Orphan Foundation of America” from the drop-down menu
    4. Follow the instructions to complete the application

    Please note: Applicant does not need to provide his/her OFA member number to open the Alliant membership as Alliant verifies membership eligibility directly with OFA.

    *All applicant(s) must also meet other eligibility requirements for Alliant membership.

    1Alliant saving dividends are paid on the last day of the month to accountholders who have maintained an average daily balance of $100 more. Savings dividend is subject to change monthly.

    2Checking dividends are paid on the last day of each month to Free High Rate Checking accountholders who have opted out of receiving paper statements (receive eStatements only) and have a recurring monthly electronic deposit, such as a direct deposit, payroll deposit, ATM deposit, eDeposit, eDepositPlus or transfer from another financial institution to their checking account each month. Otherwise, Alliant checking accounts do not earn a dividend. APY=Annual Percentage Yield. Checking dividend is subject to change monthly. Account is subject to approval.

    3Alliant checking is free. However, if incurred, fees such as a stop payment or NSF fee will apply. Please refer to the Alliant Fee Schedule at www.alliantcreditunion.org for a complete list of these types of fees.

    4Alliant charges a nominal fee after eight transactions have been performed in a month at non-Alliant ATMs, including CO-OP Network, Credit Union 24 CU Here, Bank of the West, Allpoint and Alliance One ATMs. Not every Allpoint ATM is surcharge-free.
