With no advertising other than word of mouth and "viral messaging" via the blogosphere, the Red Scarf Project has become known to hundreds of large and small knitting circles and thousands of individuals across the U.S. OFA is grateful for and inspired by this outpouring of good will toward youth aging out of foster care.  Click on the image below to see an example of the Project's grass roots appeal.
