SHOOTING STARTS ON NEW CARE PACKAGE DVD
Production is in full swing on the OFA Care Package DVD project. This will be a seven-minute documentary style pitch piece featuring OFA students, sponsors, friends and staff.
University students Summer Hammoudeh and Andre Odom with OFA Scholarship Director Tina Raheem
Working with Rochester, NY-based POV-Rose Films, we interviewed nine students in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC, and also taped a great conversation with Linda Lausell-Bryant, director of Inwood House in NYC. Following that we visited the offices of FedEx in DC and Freddie Mac Foundation in Virginia — two invaluable sponsors with a major stake in the community of caring that our kids benefit from.
We shot plenty of “B-roll” too….Digital editing has already begun and I’ll be traveling soon up to Rochester to supervise the final cut at POV-Rose’s splendid console. Stay tuned for updates… -DS
